Hello. We're Amapala

Amapala GmbH serves as a link in the trade relations between Chile, the United States and Germany, with a focus on qualitative development. Our mission is to contribute to the development of both Chilean supplier communities as well as  North American and German recipients.

Amapala's mission begins with enhancing the quality of life in Homberg Efze through the establishment of the Home Berg restaurant on the Marktplatz. Here, traditional recipes of German settlers who emigrated to Patagonia in the 19th century are thoughtfully combined with Hessian cuisine, crafted using locally sourced ingredients. This approach significantly supports the local circular economy and strengthens the region's cultural identity, fostering the growth of tourism and other essential economic pillars needed to drive qualitative development.

Simultaneously, Amapala imports Chilean macroalgae as a resource for various sectors of the North American and German industries. The algae is sustainably harvested, respecting natural growth cycles to ensure high-quality raw materials while supporting the livelihoods of local harvesting communities. This versatile resource can be transformed into a wide range of products, including biodegradable bioplastics, natural gelling agents for food, dental care products, and bio-fertilizers, among others. By introducing this product, Amapala facilitates further industrial development in North America and Europe while promoting environmentally responsible practices.

The added value of the company lies in establishing a direct exchange between primary production and industrial fabrication.
